Viking Classic 4.6% %

Head is initially average sized, frothy, brown, mostly lasting. Body is black. Aroma is moderately malty (roasted/burnt grain, coffee, bitter chocolate, Oreo cookie), lightly hoppy (herbs, grapefruit). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. All righty, now we’re talking…this is quite solid and very drinkable. Energetic aroma that’s got a little more malt depth than your basic stout. Good finishing bitterness and enough malt sugars leftover to provide a pretty rich drinking experience for its size. Good stuff. beeradvocate.com

Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, husks), lightly hoppy (herbs), with notes of DMS and concrete. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly husky, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A really clunky, industrial rendition. DMS and husks, dirty, not much hops. Drain pour. ratebeer.com
Thule 5,0% Appearance – Clear yellow colour with an average size fizzy white coloured head. There is a high amount of carbonation showing and there is a fair amount of lacing. The head lasted for around 4 minutes before it was gone. Smell – Grains, bread, malts, corn, and lots of skunk Taste & Mouth – The beer has a high amount of carbonation. I can taste breads/grains mixed with light hops and some corn. I can also pick up on some malts and some light floral notes. It finishes with a corn syrup sweet and spicy aftertaste. beeradvocate.com
